Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 23, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Polytrace Inc ("Polytrace", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies on the public Polytrace website and, where applicable, inside the Polytrace product.

This policy should be read with the Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how Polytrace handles personal information more broadly, including product data and connected-source data.

1. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on a browser or device. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, scripts, SDKs, local storage, and other tools that store or read information from a browser or device. These technologies can remember settings, keep sessions secure, measure performance, understand website use, and support service operation.

2. How Polytrace uses these technologies

Polytrace may use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Strictly necessary operation. Technologies needed to load pages, route traffic, maintain security, prevent abuse, remember privacy choices where available, and support login or product sessions.
  • Security and fraud prevention. Technologies used to detect suspicious activity, protect accounts, maintain auditability, and prevent misuse of forms, sessions, or infrastructure.
  • Preferences. Technologies that remember settings such as interface choices or other non-sensitive preferences.
  • Analytics and performance. Technologies that help Polytrace understand which public pages are visited, how visitors reach the site, whether pages are working, and how to improve performance and content.
  • Marketing attribution. Technologies that may help Polytrace understand which campaign, referral, search, or content path led to a demo request, contact request, or other business inquiry. Polytrace does not use connected-source product data for advertising or retargeting.

3. Google Analytics on the public website

The public marketing website loads Google Analytics through Google tag scripts in production. Google Analytics may set or read analytics cookies such as _ga and related property-specific cookies, collect event data, and process information such as page URL, referrer, browser, device, approximate location derived from network data, and interaction events.

Polytrace uses this information to measure site traffic, diagnose performance, understand public content usage, and improve the public website. Polytrace does not use Google Analytics to read customer workspace content, connected-source content, emails, files, attachments, extracted values, or product records.

Google may process analytics information according to Google's own terms and policies. Visitors can use browser controls, privacy extensions, or Google's browser add-on for opting out of Google Analytics where available.

4. Product cookies

The Polytrace product may use cookies or similar technologies for login sessions, authentication, security, CSRF protection, MFA flows, password-manager discovery, organization context, product preferences, and operational reliability. Blocking strictly necessary product cookies may prevent the product from working.

5. Third-party technologies

Third-party services may place or read cookies or similar technologies when they provide analytics, security, hosting, payment, support, communication, or other service functions for Polytrace. Third-party use is limited by contracts, provider terms, and applicable law where required.

6. Managing choices

Browser settings usually allow visitors to block, delete, or limit cookies. Some browsers and extensions also support privacy signals or analytics opt-outs. Blocking cookies may affect website or product functionality, and blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login, security, or preference features from working.

Where Polytrace presents a cookie banner, consent manager, or preference tool, visitors can use that tool to make or change non-essential cookie choices. If a required privacy control is not visible for your region or browser, contact Polytrace so the request can be reviewed.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Polytrace does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used in California privacy law. Where required by law and technically feasible, Polytrace will treat recognized opt-out preference signals as requests to opt out of sale or sharing.

8. Changes to this policy

Polytrace may update this Cookie Policy when technologies, vendors, laws, or practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.

9. Contact

Questions about this Cookie Policy can be sent through the Contact page or to support@polytrace.com.
